22-3-2011 Αύξηση κρουσμάτων σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης ζώων. Στη ΣΟΥΗΔΙΑ η τηλεοπτική εκπομπή TV4 αποκαλύπτει πως στα αρχεία της Σουηδικής αστυνομίας αναφέρονται 60 περιστατικά κτηνοβασίας μέσα στο 2010. Σύμφωνα με τον Johan Beck-Friis από τον Σουηδικό κτηνιατρικό σύλλογο (Veterinärförbundet), από το 2006, αναφέρονται επίσημα, περίπου 20 κτηνοβασίες το χρόνο, αλλά το 2010 δημοσιοποιήθηκαν 40 τραγικά περιστατικά. Δηλαδή μέσα σε τέσσερα χρόνια, μόνο στη Σουηδία διπλασιάστηκε αυτού του είδους η εγκληματικότητα. Η σεξουαλική κακοποίηση έγινε κυρίως σε άλογα που ζούσαν σε φάρμες στα περίχωρα των μεγάλων πόλεων της Σουηδίας, και οι ιδιοκτήτες αλόγων έχουν πλέον σοβαρό λόγο να ανησυχούν. Σύμφωνα με το TV 4, πριν από δύο εβδομάδες η φοράδα Bionne, πρωταθλήτρια σε αγώνες εμποδίων το 2009,στη Σουηδία, κακοποιήθηκε σεξουαλικά από κτηνάνθρωπο, μάλιστα αυτήν την περίοδο η Bionne είναι έγκυος από τον αστέρα της Σουηδικής ιππασίας επιβήτορα Tornesch, (Tornesch, Malin Baryard-Johnsson's stallion). Ο καθηγητής ψυχιατρικής επιδημιολογίας στο Karolinska Institutet, Δρ. Under the conditions of Douglas Spink’s release, he must adhere to all local, state, and federal laws for five years. Now authorities believe that Spink violated the terms of that release by providing animals for sex acts on an alleged bestiality farm. It has also been suggested that there is a mutual connection between Douglas Spink and Kenneth Pinyan. On Wednesday, April 14, 2010 authorities raided Douglas Spink’s animal farm and arrested Spinks and a tourist, Stephen Clarke from Peterborough, England. Authorities described some of the evidence found at the scene as ‘bizarre.’ Reports state that authorities seized dogs, horses, and mice. There were reportedly thousands of images of bestiality and child pornography found on the property as well. Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo described the mice found on the farm, “This stuff is just truly bizarre. There were mice that had their tails cut off, they were smothered in Vaseline and they had string tied around them." Officials euthanized thirteen mice. The Whatcom Humane Society removed the dogs and horses and are caring for them. Spink’s farm was located at the 5000 block of Reese Hill Road and according to Douglas Spink’s website: Stallions.net, the site provided animals to tourists for sexual purposes. Authorities stated that they obtained video tape evidence depicting the tourist Stephen Clarke engaging in bestiality. Stephen Clark was arrested and charged with three counts of cruelty to animals, a first degree felony.
