ΚΕΡΑΤΑ ΕΛΑΦΙΟΥ στην παραδοσιακή ΚΙΝΕΖΙΚΗ ΙΑΤΡΙΚΗ

24-8-12  ΚΙΝΑ Liaoyuan, επαρχία Jilin, ελάφια sika εκτρέφονται για τα κέρατά τους (cartialgenous) που αποτελούν σημαντική πρώτη ύλη στην παραδοσιακή  κινεζική ιατρική.  Στα κινεζικά εκτροφεία (ο δημοσιογράφος τα ονομάζει στρατόπεδα θανάτου, death camps) όλα τα προϊόντα των νεκρών ελαφιών είναι χρήσιμα, το αίμα τους, το δέρμα, το κρέας, τα έντερα και τα κόκαλα.

Η διαδικασία κοπής κεράτων (process of cutting cartialgenous) είναι αιματηρή. Ο πόνος είναι αφόρητος για τα ελάφια.

The sika deer are raised in large numbers in Liaoyuan, Jilin province, for their cartialgenous, which is an important raw material for the traditional Chinese medicine. The deer’s blood, skin, meat, bones and intestines are all valuable for the deer raisers when the deer die in the death camp. The process of cutting cartialgenous is bloody. Sometimes the anestehstic is not enough to quiet the deer. The pain will be unbearable for them.
