Vasko Gligorijevic, the well-known Serb Activist and Philhellene, according to a source, is likely to have been arrested during the last days in FYROM. In the last e-mail he sent to one of his friends, almost 2 days ago, Vasko stated that most likely he is going to be arrested again and made a desperate plea for help. We remind the shocking case oof the first arrest and detention of Vasko to the Bardovci Psychiatric Hospital aboutnly 5 months ago. A case which resulted to inspire a gigantic outrage and International pressure against FYROM’s regime which resulted Vasko finally to be released.
It wouldnt surprise anyone if this pattern is repeated once more. The aggressive campaign by the FYROM’s administration of Nikola Gruevski to depict its domestic critics and anyone in general expressing a different opinion from the official state dogma as “enemies” of the state doesnt stop anywhere. But Right now this is besides the point. First and foremost we are deeply concerned for the physical safety of our friend Vasko who called desperately for help. Any help would be appreciated and is surely welcome!!
