Ο Σερίφης Joe Arpaio στη  Maricopa County ανακοίνωσε ότι η αστυνομία γνωρίζει  την παράνομη αυτή δραστηριότητα, περισσότερο από ένα χρόνο.
Ο Arpaio έστειλε δύο φορές προειδοποίηση στον Jim Buckmaster, Craigslist CEO, γιατί στην ιστοσελίδα υπάρχει χώρος διαφήμισης για την ασυνείδητη συμπεριφορά των κτηνοβατών.
Οι κτηνοβάτες χρησιμοποιούν για την εγκληματική τους δραστηριότητα, μυστική γλώσσα με κώδικες, ψευδώνυμα και συνθηματικές λέξεις.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, said deputies became aware more than a year ago people were using Craigslist to communicate with others who have interest in bestiality.

Arpaio has issued two warnings to Craigslist CEO Jim Buckmaster, claiming that the Internet site is providing a "platform for the propagation of unconscionable behavior."

The investigations indicated a secret language was utilized by Craigslist users to obscure there criminal plans, according to Arpaio.

The married father, who lives in Mesa, allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist at least two months ago titled, "Bottom need hung tops -- M4M" and "Willing to try hung K9 4 Fun too," according to ABC 15. An agent with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department negotiated with Naylor for weeks, using a picture of a dog from the animal shelter (above) to lure him into a nearby hotel.
Naylor was arrested and taken to jail Monday night. He never saw the dog.

Less than a week ago, Shane and Sarah Dae Walker, of San Tan Valley, were sentenced to probation and ordered to stay away from animals after trying to use Craigslist to find a dog for the woman to have sex with.
In July 2011, a former Phoenix middle school music teacher and a Mesa handyman were sentenced to two years of probation in a similar case.

51-year-old Douglas Spink was arrested after officials allegedly caught him running a "bestiality farm" in Washington State, near the Canadian border. Spink allegedly kept dozens of horses, dogs, and mice, which he provided to visitors who wanted to engage in sexual acts with animals.
