ΣΩΤΗΡΑΣ ανθρώπων, άφησε ΟΡΦΑΝΑ τα ΣΚΥΛΑΚΙΑ του

3-7-12 ΚΙΝΑ, ο 27χρονος εργάτης Deng Jinjie, έκανε βόλτα με τα δύο σκυλιά του στις όχθες του ποταμού Sunshuihe στην πόλη Loudi (πάρκο Loudi City Sunshuihe Park) Ξαφνικά άκουσε να καλούν σε βοήθεια, κάποιοι που κολυμπούσαν στα νερά του ποταμού.
Είδε ένα πεντάχρονο αγοράκι να πνίγεται (αν και φορούσε σωσίβιο) ενώ ο πατέρας του καλούσε για βοήθεια.
Χωρίς να σκεφτεί τίποτα, ο Deng Jinjie έπεσε με τα ρούχα και τα παπούτσια του μέσα στα επικίνδυνα νερά (όπου έχασαν τη ζωή τους 5 άτομα μέσα σε ένα μήνα).
Κατάφερε να σώσει την τριμελή οικογένεια που κινδύνευε (πατέρα, μητέρα και το 5χρονο αγοράκι τους) αλλά έχασε τη δική του ζωή.
η οικογένεια που διασώθηκε δεν ενδιαφέρθηκε καθόλου για τον σωτήρα της, αποχώρησαν ενώ ο Deng Jinjie πνίγονταν αβοήθητος εξαιτίας τους.
Όταν κάποιος ρώτησε τη γυναίκα «το άτομο που σας έσωσε, είναι ακόμη στο νερό, πως μπορείτε να φύγετε?» η γυναίκα απάντησε πως δεν την αφορά και δεν είναι δική της δουλειά…αποχώρησαν απαθέστατοι, ενώ ο φιλόζωος και φιλάνθρωπος Deng Jinjie πνίγηκε αβοήθητος.
Ο Deng Jinjie άφησε ορφανά τα 16 σκυλάκια του –δύο από τα οποία αγωνιούν ακόμη μόνα τους στις όχθες του ποταμού-
Η αδελφή του Deng Qiuqiong είναι σοκαρισμένη και δεν μπορεί να πιστέψει τη σκληρότητα και την απάθεια που επέδειξαν οι άνθρωποι στον σωτήρα τους.

His two dogs were still waiting anxiously outside of the crowds for their master to take them home, but Deng Jinjie who loved his dogs as much as his own life will never again be able to take care of them.
... in order to save a family of three from drowning, 27-year-old Deng Jinjie had jumped into the river without regard for his personal danger. Unfortunately, he ran out of strength and was swallowed by the rapid river waters. What makes people bitterly disappointed is that, just as Deng Jinjie was in danger and whether he was alive or dead was unknown, not only did the family of three that he rescued not actively try to help, they also didn’t stick around to see what would happen, instead indifferently choosing to leave…

One man has gone, but the animals are still alive… we’ll forever cherish the memory of him… we mustn’t be numb/apathetic like animals.
