ΦΙΛΑΝΘΡΩΠΙΑ στις JUSTGIVING ΙΣΤΟΣΕΛΙΔΕΣ

Ο Jim Croft, έμπορος ομολόγων στο Λονδίνο, κάνει έκκληση οικονομικής βοήθειας για την Ελλάδα στην ιστοσελίδα για δωρεές JustGiving (www.justgiving.com/savegreece)
Η Ελλάδα βρίσκεται σε βαθιά οικονομική κρίση γράφει στην ιστοσελίδα ο Jim Croft. Οι δωρεές θα βοηθήσουν τους φτωχούς Έλληνες που τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια αγωνίζονται να πληρώσουν τους λογαριασμούς τους. Σαν στόχο θέτει τη συγκέντρωση 100 εκατομμυρίων στερλινών (150 εκατομμύρια δολάρια) που θα συμβάλλουν στην κάλυψη του δημοσιονομικού ελλείμματος και δημοσίου χρέους της Ελλάδας.
Συγκεντρώθηκαν περίπου 400 στερλίνες κυρίως από άτομα που εργάζονται στις χρηματοπιστωτικές αγορές- αν κρίνουμε από τις παρατηρήσεις που συνοδεύουν τις δωρεές- Τα χρήματα που θα συγκεντρωθούν θα πάνε στο φιλανθρωπικό ίδρυμα Oxfam.
Τα άτομα που κάνουν τις δωρεές δεν είναι υποχρεωμένα να δίνουν τα πραγματικά τους ονόματα, εμφανίζονται με το ψευδώνυμο Jean-Claude Trichet ,(προέδρου της Ευρωπαϊκής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας), ή ως Angela Merkel (καγκελαρίου της Γερμανίας).
Κάποιος δωρητής 10 στερλινών εμφανίζεται ως Dominique Strauss-Kahn (πρόεδρος του Διεθνούς Νομισματικού Ταμείου), και σχολιάζει "Αυτή είναι η προσωπική συνεισφορά μου, δεν είμαι πολύ σίγουρος ότι είμαι σε θέση να πείσω τον εργοδότη μου,"

Trader sets up charity page to aid debt-hit Greece
BRUSSELS
Fri Apr 9, 2010 (Reuters) - A London bonds trader has set up a charity Web page in a tongue-in-cheek effort to raise money for debt-ridden Greece.
The page on the donations website JustGiving (www.justgiving.com/savegreece) asks people to help collect 100 million pounds ($150 million) for the country, which is struggling to finance its budget deficit and debt.

Good news at last for Greece. The heavily indebted country has found a saviour in the unlikely form London bond trader Jim Croft.

Greece is in a deep financial crisis. Donating here will go along way to helping these poor people who have lived beyond their means for the last 10 years and are now struggling to pay their bills. Please think of them as they avoid their taxes and then blame evil speculators rather than face up to the fact that lying about their national statistics was probably more of a factor.
Please donate in pounds as all Euro payments will soon be subject to a 50% haircut.
