Mr Hehir is loathe to reveal exactly where he saw the fox, as he is concerned for its welfare.
He has already had a call from a taxidermist, offering him £1,000 to tell him where it is.

The unusual animal was found dead by the roadside after being hit by a car between Bassingbourn and Royston yesterday morning, and is today being transferred to Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge to be studied by an expert.
Helen McRobie, from the university's life sciences department, will be testing the animal to try to find the mutation which caused its unusual colouring.
She said: "The first thing to do is to take DNA samples from the fox and try to look for a specific mutation.
"I hope to find the genetic basis of the melanism by comparing this animal's DNA with that of a regular fox."
